Vienna Woods. The tour will pass through the Roman thermal spa resort

you through the romantic Helenental to the former hunting lodge

This tour will show you some of the highlights of Burgenland, one
of the lesser known provinces in Austria on the border to Hungary.
The first stop will be made in Eisenstadt, the provincial capital,
where Joseph Haydn, one of Austria's most famous composers, lived
and worked for many years. Visit the Esterhazy Castle before continuing
to the pretty little town of Rust on the shores of Lake Neusiedl,
famous both for its wines and the storks which year for year nest
on the rooves of the houses. Following a traditional 3-course lunch
the tour will then continue to Mörbisch, annually the setting
for a much acclaimed music festival on the lake. Here you will board
a boat for a ride across Lake Neusiedl, the largest steppe lake
in Europe and which partly forms the border to Hungary.

the Danube Valley known as the Wachau. The full day's journey includes
a visit to the magnificent Benedictine Abbey of Melk, one of the
best examples of Baroque architecture in Austria and often referred
to as the "cradle of Austria". A stop in the picturesque
village of Dürnstein where King Richard the Lionheart of England
was held prisoner until rescued by his faithful minstrel Blondel,
is particularly worthwhile, as well as the old merchants' town of
Krems.

1st Day: The journey takes you across the border to Znaim
and then directly to Prague via the motorway. Check-in and lunch
at the hotel. In the afternoon the highlights of Prague will be
presented to you in a half-day sightseeing tour including the Prague
castle sites St. Vitus' Cathedral, Old Royal Palace or Basilica
of St. George, known as the largest castle complex in the world
and the Strahov monastery with one of Europe's oldest libraries.
In the evening a folklore dinner will be served in a typical Czech
restaurant.
2nd Day: Sightseeing starts with a short walk to the Old
Town Square, certainly one of the most charming squares in the world.
You will have the chance to admire the famous Old Town Hall with
the astronomical clock, see the Tyn church, one of the most impressive
gothic churches in Europe. The tour continues to the Josefov, where
a large Jewish quarter used to be before World War II. After lunch
departure from Prague, back to Vienna.
